The 6th Annual Chi Fan for Charity will take place in Shanghai on Saturday, November 12th, 2016. It is the largest food and beverage event to benefit charity in Asia and takes place in Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong. To date, the event has raised a combined total of over 4.7 million RMB for over 20 diverse charities.

Each participating restaurant sponsors a table of 10 and provides a customized menu valued at a minimum of 500 RMB per person. Each table is hosted by one of Shanghai’s movers and shakers. They purchase the table of their choosing and invite their friends from across their networks, including industry business professionals, managing directors, and other key opinion leaders from the Shanghai community.
The 2016 Shanghai beneficiaries are Educating Girls of Rural China (ERGC) and Shanghai Young Bakers (SYB). Funds raised will be split equally amongst the two groups, and put toward the common goal to break the cycle of poverty through education.
The 2016 execution team is led by Shanghai Director Vy Vu and made possible by title sponsor Epermarket. The event is also supported by The Good Agency Asia, That’s Shanghai, EventBank and Digital Creative.
