MAYA will hold its annual Thanksgiving Dinner Menu on Thursday 26th November from 6pm. For 350rmb we will provide a appertizer, turkey main course with mole gravy and spicey cranberry sauce and dessert along with a glass of wine and home-made egg-nog. We always fill up so book early!
We are also going to be hosting another Thanksgiving Dinner at MAYA Restaurant benefiting XinXing Aid for Street Kids. Last year’s event was much talked about and we expect this annual holiday event to be the hottest Thankgiving on town. It will be held on Tuesday 24th November from 7pm – 11pm and the ticket price is 450 RMB which includes free flow drinks and MAYA’s famous Turkey dinner along with all of the fixings. We will be serving up a whole turkey on each table to be carved by whomever the host selects. We will also have a Silent Auction and Christmas Cards for sale to benefit XinXing. There will be a presentation about XinXing’s progress in the journey to help children the impoverished areas of Shanxi province and an opportunity to learn more about getting involved in XinXing. www.xinxingaid.com.org. Xinxing’ 4th centre will open in Xi’an this fall. Last year we managed to raise over 45,000rmb!
